Gargari Gutity
Gargari Gutiy is our own coffee station in Gutity, Gedeb,
Ethiopia, at 2,349 m.a.s.l. We produce washed and experimental
coffees from the KURUME/74110 variety, using water from the Gutity
River.
“Gargari Mene” means uniting and looking out for one
another. In 2026, our coffee achieved first place in the Taste of
Harvest competition.
Mustica Fermentation
We call this process Mustica Fermentation. In this method, mosto yeast is prepared from coffee that has undergone anaerobic fermentation. It is diluted with clean water and adjusted to a pH of 5 before being mixed with freshly harvested coffee to initiate fermentation.
